The shutdown is done!! And daddy (Jay) went back to work! Both good things...
But this morning, our little guy spent a good 20 - 30 minutes after daddy left, crawling around the house saying "dada dada" looking for his dada. It was a little heartbreaking.
And I realized that I was back on full time poopie diaper call.
As the day went along, we enjoyed a play date with our new moms group friends. And the day seemed to be getting along just fine.
But when quitting time came, and daddy walked through the door. Little Kubs's eyes lit up as he raced to get his daddy. Because he missed me. And I'm sure my eyes lit up just a little too!
Moments like these make my heart melt as I realize that I have an amazing love-filled little family.
